Megan Baird

Megan Baird is a senior at George Mason University majoring in Civil Engineering. Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, she set the freshman pole vault record at Mason with a personal best of 3.75 meters (12’3.5”) and continues to stay involved in the sport through coaching. Her background in gymnastics gives her a deep understanding of body control and technique, which she applies thoughtfully in helping vaulters improve their form and confidence. Outside of the runway, Megan enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and crochet. As the Friday and Sunday Assistant Coach at the Northern Virginia Pole Vault Club, she is known for her technical precision, calm presence, and ability to help athletes approach each jump with purpose.
