How To:  Make-Ups

We appreciate your patience with our new registration system – we searched for an online registration system that can provide for make-up practices.  It is your responsibility to initiate and schedule a make-up.  We offer this on a space available basis (we limit total athletes in a practice to 10). 

If you are going to miss a practice, please do two things:

1. Go into your Athlete portal

   • Click on practice date you will miss

   • Select “manage this class”

   • Select “cancel just this class”

2. Email novapolevaultclub@gmail.com to let us know you are going to miss a practice and ask for a make- up (you do not need to tell us what make-up date you want)

After you inform us you will miss a practice, next steps:

1. We email you to let you know we have gifted you a make-up class so that you can select a date/time that is available and works with you in your athlete portal.  You will not be able to sign up for a make-up until this step is done.

2. Go into your Athlete portal

• Select Schedule Make-Up

• You will see two options

  • Classes You Cancelled = click here to confirm this is the practice you have cancelled/cannot make (YOU MUST DO THIS)

  • Classes Cancelled by Coach = means we gifted you a make-up

• Select Classes Cancelled by Coach and you will we gifted you a make-up

• Click that date/box and a calendar will appear for you to select a make-up practice

• Select a make-up practice

• On the right, the time of the class appears

• Select and confirm

• You will see a confirmation notice appear

• Go to the Athlete portal calendar and you should see new practice you selected on your calendar and the practice you are missing will be grayed out

• If your first choice for make-up is full (meaning no space is available) select another date/time.  If there is no space available for a date that fit your schedule then unfortunately you will not be able to have a make-up.

 

Note for drop in athletes: If you are only paying for a drop in, you should still go remove yourself from the class you signed up for and then add yourself to an available class as a make up.  We no not need to gift you any make up class.

Note for athletes who paid for the summer session and you cannot make one of your days:  Complete step one then let us know you have taken yourself out of a practice and we will “gift you a make-up” which just means you now can go in and find a date/class that works for you.

IMPORTANT INFO

Make-Ups are available on a first come first serve basis.  Meaning if a class is full, you will not be able to add yourself.

Athletes in the beginner practice do not have an option to make up in another beginner class because we only offer one beginner session this summer.  You could sign up for an intermediate class, however they will be coached at the intermediate level.  In other words, if your athlete is not comfortable vaulting with more experienced vaulters they do not have an option for make up.
